Flowers

It always gives me great joy to walk outdoors and admire my flowers.
I call this one my Cobalt plant.

At this time of year Daffodils pop up all over the yard.

I have several different varieties.

Here is a favorite plant of mine----Kangaroo Paws.  The little red blooms look a little like paws up close.  Another bunch of daffodils in the back pot nestled in Thyme.

I love it when flowers come up voluntarily as do these Calla Lillies, and Nasturtium.  Right in the middle is my Pink Promise Geranium.

A pot of red Kalenchoe, often seen as a house plant.

The red Ivy Geranium above the Nasturtium makes a nice contrast.

Though it never flowers, Staghorn Ferns always look magnificent.

I always try to plant some vegetables around the yard.  Here are some seedling onions.

Putting them all together is truly a heartwarming experience.

Grandkids

I don't know how I got so lucky, but I'm a bona fide Grandma.  As our grandkids get older, I just love them more and more.  I'm so happy to be in their lives, and wouldn't trade it for the world.

These two came into my life quite miraculously.  When I married Duane, he already had Valerie and Amanda as his granddaughters, and I was thrilled to have them as mine too.

Then, along came two more, and I had four times the love.

We get lots of shots of the girls at holidays and other occasions.

But, Reese has always been camera shy.

In fact he'll often hide behind something.

But, every once in a while we can sneak one in.

Christmas is a great time for Grandkid photos, but so is Halloween.  How about these adorable Cowgirls?

The In and Out kids were a favorite of mine.

So, for all the Dance recitals.....

Easters,

And, 4ths of July, we thank you!
